Let it be known to all that beginning yesterday, 19th of May 2004, I am officially an ISKA.

Yes you heard it right, ISKA.

We may not be the ISTAS, IANS or ITES.

But we are proud ISKAs and ISKOs.

Attending the orientation has brought out the sense of nationalism in me - knowing that each one of us was alotted a 1M subsidy. Where did they get that money from? The TAXPAYERS. And in that 1M, only 5,951.50 was payed by my parents.

Naknampuchah, mas malaki pa ang allowance ko.

They also taught us the Unibersidad, Hey UP!, Let's go UP!, and other yells from the UP Pep Squad. The drummer was oh-so-cute. *giggles*

Not only that, we were oriented by uber funny and ass kicking people. Absolutely hilarous. Except the fact that they made fun of the BS Bio people - in front of MOI. Palibhasa, orientation ng College of Engineering yun.

But this is why I love UP the most...
